Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the EV Atlas mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by EV Atlas ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EV Atlas, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EV Atlas provides electric vehicle comparison data, specifications, and charging station locations for informational purposes. The Service includes:

• A database of 1,700+ electric vehicles from 72 brands with specifications
• An interactive map of 240,000+ EV charging stations worldwide
• Vehicle comparison and analysis tools
• Blog content about electric vehicles

3. User Accounts

EV Atlas does not require account creation. All preferences and favorites are stored locally on your device.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

EV Atlas offers an optional Premium subscription ("EV Atlas Premium") available as a monthly auto-renewable subscription at $4.99/month (USD). By subscribing:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings at any time
• No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of any subscription period

Premium benefits include: ad-free experience, extended vehicle comparisons, saved favorites, and priority data updates.

5. Free Tier and Advertising

The free version of EV Atlas displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of ads and the collection of data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Accuracy of Information

EV Atlas strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information. However:

• Vehicle specifications are sourced from publicly available databases and manufacturer data, and may contain errors or become outdated
• Charging station locations and availability are sourced from third-party APIs (NREL, OpenStreetMap) and may not reflect real-time conditions
• Pricing information is approximate and varies by region and dealer
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided

Always verify critical information with the vehicle manufacturer or charging station operator before making purchasing or travel decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The EV Atlas application, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by EV Atlas and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Vehicle data is sourced from the OpenEV Data project under the CDLA-Permissive-2.0 license.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Scrape or systematically extract data from the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Redistribute the application or its content without permission

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EV ATLAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Third-Party Services

EV Atlas integrates with third-party services including Google AdMob, Apple StoreKit, NREL AFDC API, and OpenStreetMap/Open Charge Map. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website.

14. Apple's Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, your use of EV Atlas is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
