EV Atlas ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. EV Atlas does not require account creation, login, or any personal details to use.

The following non-personal data may be collected automatically:

• Device location — Only when you explicitly grant permission, used solely to show nearby charging stations on the map. Location data is not stored or transmitted to our servers.
• Usage analytics — Anonymous crash reports and basic usage statistics through Apple's built-in analytics.
• Advertising data — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization (see Section 4).

2. How We Use Information

• Display nearby charging stations based on your location
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Display relevant advertisements (free tier only)

3. Data Storage

All vehicle data and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts or cloud storage. Charging station data is fetched from public APIs (NREL, OpenStreetMap) and cached locally.

4. Third-Party Services

EV Atlas uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — Displays advertisements in the free tier. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data. Google Privacy Policy
• Apple StoreKit — Processes in-app purchases for Premium subscriptions. Managed entirely by Apple. Apple Privacy Policy
• NREL AFDC API — Provides US charging station data. No personal data is sent.

5. In-App Purchases

EV Atlas offers a Premium subscription ($4.99/month) to remove advertisements. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and can be cancelled at any time in your device Settings → Subscriptions.

6. Children's Privacy

EV Atlas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Deny or revoke location permissions at any time in device Settings
• Opt out of personalized ads via Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising
• Delete the app to remove all locally stored data
• Cancel your subscription at any time

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
